Two programs, split by grade
Bryan Youth Sports runs two football programs each fall under the Little Bear name. Tackle football is for 5th and 6th graders. Flag football is for 1st through 4th graders, split into a 1st/2nd grade team and a 3rd/4th grade team.

Little Bear Tackle Football, 5th and 6th grade
Practices run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30pm on the practice fields behind Bryan MS/HS. Games are Saturdays, with home games at Golden Bear Stadium. Teams play in the NWOYFL against Napoleon, Evergreen and Delta. For the 2025 season registration was $100, which covered use of a helmet, shoulder pads and equipment for the season, and every player kept a jersey.

Flag football, 1st through 4th grade
Teams practice once or twice a week for about an hour, at times each coach sets. Games are Sundays at 1pm at Golden Bear Stadium. Past seasons have included teams from Bryan along with West Unity, Edon and Fairview. For the 2025 season registration was $75, and each player received an NFL Play 60 reversible jersey and a set of flags to use. Coaches do not penalize players for missed practices, and we do our best to work around schedules, though we cannot promise specific practice nights.

How registration works
Both programs open registration in late spring with a deadline in early July, before the season starts in August. Registration is not open year round, and the previous season's forms are closed once the deadline passes. When the next window opens it is posted here and on our current registration page. Fees can be paid by Venmo (@bryanlittlebears), check or cash, with a note naming the player so it gets credited correctly.
